From a simple puncture to a full service to wheel building, Dorchester Cycles can keep your bicycle in top condition!

We have a fully equipped workshop and are able to work on virtually any bike regardless of where you purchased it from.

Our Cycle technician James is happy to discuss any requirements that you may have and can give you an estimate of the work you require.

Alternatilvely we offer menu servicing as follows...

Basic Service
Set up gears, true both wheels, adjust bearings and check operation, check tightness of pedals, cranks stems bars etc, set up brakes, check tyres and inflate to correct pressure, safety check.
£29 (includes lubricants and VAT)

Deluxe Service
As above, but we remove the drivetrain components and degrease then in our "gunk" tank, relubricate and refit them to the bike. Also we replace the control cables. Also check alignment of the rear deraileur hanger.
£59 (includes lubricants and VAT)

Any parts needed on the above services (if needed) are of course chargeable.

Puncture Repair

Have a puncture on your bike and don't want to fix it yourself? Then let us fix it for you! We will remove your old tyre and tube. Check the tyre for thorns, glass or damage, then refit the tyre with a new tube. We will also check the other tyres pressure as well. We are also able to fix punctures on childrens pushchairs/buggys and wheelchairs as well!
£12.50 (includes new tube) or if you bring in just the wheel just £9.50

Wheel Building

We offer a full wheel building service. We have many years of experience and have many happy customers riding on our wheels.
Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.
As a guide to price we charge £33.30 for building a wheel and £15 for DT Comp double butted spokes.

Due to the vast range and differences in suspension forks, we now send them to specialist service agents. Please contact us for more information.
